Each node performs exactly one operation, supports both sandbox and production environments, and logs every call for audit. No middleware to maintain.
The workflow state engine retries automatically on transient failures — network timeouts, downstream rate limits, temporary API errors. Permanent failures route to an alerting flow so the right person hears about it within minutes. Every run keeps its state, so partial work isn't lost and downstream systems don't get half-finished data.
